Volunteers collect seeds from sagebrush and perennial grasses and forbs to reseed areas where cheatgrass has been eradicated. Numerous wildflower species are consumed in summer and attract invertebrates which are critical high protein food for Gunnison Sage-Grouse and other sagebrush dependent species.
